Paver sealing chemicals:
Paver sealing products are not a one-stop shop. We use non-volatile chemicals in our sealing products. It is important to note that one sealing product is not ideal for all environmental conditions. For example, the products we use are suited to the moist, humid conditions in central Florida. These products perform exceptionally in Florida but would not be suited to colder climates.
Solvent-based products require the pavers to be 100% dry, any moisture within the paver or concrete can eventually cause clouding, even if the moisture is absorbed later from humidity. We use a water-based product that we mix with water for application, this allows us to wet sand your pavers, which yields a better sand lock, then blow dry and apply the product. As the water evaporates the polymers are absorbed by the pavers providing a beautiful finish without the potential issues with solvent-based products.
